This bespoke media wall in Leeds, Yorkshire was designed and built to combine contemporary custom joinery with a fully integrated home cinema and entertainment system. The result is a refined living space where high-performance AV technology is discreetly incorporated into the furniture and interior design.
Floor-to-ceiling bespoke cabinetry provides generous concealed storage, while recessed display areas with integrated lighting create a warm architectural feature around the television. Natural timber detailing contrasts with the dark cabinetry, giving the media wall a contemporary finish while complementing the wider room.
The AV system was designed as an integral part of the media wall from the outset. Triad speakers provide the front left, centre and right channels, together with discreet surround and overhead speakers to create an immersive Dolby Atmos home cinema system.
Anthem amplification provides the power and control for the system, delivering detailed, dynamic cinema sound throughout the room. Careful consideration was given to speaker positioning, cable management, ventilation and equipment integration to ensure performance without compromising the clean appearance of the finished joinery.
By bringing the media wall design, bespoke joinery and AV installation together as one complete project, every element could be planned around both the room and the technology.
